I am scheduled to travel to the Philippines as an intern and ambassador for Christ in March 2021 and very excited about the prospects of working overseas at the Mike Keyes Ministries International with founders Apostle Mike and Ethel Keys – missionaries and graduates of Rhema Bible Training College. There will be many ways to serve the pastors and the people of the land.

In past missionary trips, I was blessed to prepare food, distribute care packages, clean living spaces, visit orphanages (sharing with children), preach in the pulpit, pray for people for healing and salvation, evangelize at a soup kitchen, and even partake in a Passover Seder meal. I am a servant leader and will serve in whatever capacity, providing assistance, and demonstrating the love of God. This is what the work is about - love in action and in word.

The WORD of God is precious. I love His Word. Multiple parts of the world treasure even sections of the bible. There have been stories told in the field that because of the scarcity of bibles, pages are removed and passed around so that as many as possible can receive the message of hope in a world full of weariness, uncertainty, and despair.

One of my favorite, favorite scriptures in all the bible is Matt. 11:28-30 (NIV). Jesus admonishes us to “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” I call the verse ‘the Great Invitation’ because He offers Himself, and He is priceless. He paid for our freedom, and so my mission is to let others know about the gift of eternal life – Jesus!

My vision is to teach and train disciples beginning with the little ones. Below are short video clips of school-aged children singing with passion and a love for Jesus at their school in Jakarta, Indonesia. I visited the country years ago with Dr. Marilyn Hickey. It was one of my 1st cross-cultural missionary trips. In addition to Indonesia, I have been with Evangelist Lars Enerson (Watchman International) and separately with Founders Rory and Wendy Alec (God TV) to Israel, and Rhema’s summer missionary team to Indian reservations in Albuquerque, Bloomfield, and Fruitland, New Mexico.
